Target: WASP-77Ab

WASP-77Ab is a transiting hot Jupiter orbiting the G8V star WASP-77A in a tidally locked configuration (Maxted et al. 2013). With an equilibrium temperature of \(T_{\mathrm{eq}} = 1715\) K (Cortes-Zuleta et al. 2020), the planet possesses a strongly irradiated dayside hemisphere whose thermal emission can be measured both from the ground at HR and from space at LR. The system has been the subject of extensive atmospheric characterization campaigns, making it an ideal benchmark for validating retrieval frameworks.
